It grows to a height of 12 inches, which is smaller than one<a href=\"\/rassen\/engelse-bulldog\/\"> English bulldog<\/a> . On average, it weighs between 9 and 13 kg. That is quite heavy for a small companion dog. He has a short, smooth coat that requires little maintenance. In color it is usually brindle white, variegated (white with brindle spots) or fawn color. French bulldogs have a typical flat muzzle and pointed bat-like ears.<\/p>\n<h2>Other particulars<\/h2>\n<p>French bulldog puppies can be stubborn. That is why it is important to educate them properly. This breed is suitable for owners with a small home or apartment. You should only let these quiet animals out once a day. The flat muzzle can make the French bulldog drool a bit. You also need to protect it well against extreme outside temperatures. It is best not to take it out during a heat wave and make sure there is always water and shade available during the summer months. French bulldogs live to be 11 to 12 years old. Another interesting fact: a &#8216;French bulldog&#8217; is exactly the same dog.
