Pugs are charming and affectionate. They are therefore very attached to their owner and the family in which they grow up. On average, they get along well with other dogs and children. After all, they are playful but not busy and quite accommodating. A Pug is a true comedian at home. Just watching the animal is a source of entertainment.
Appearance
A Pug has a sturdy but compact body. It can weigh between 6.3 and 8 kilograms and is usually around 35 cm high. He has a soft coat with fine, short hair. His radiant beady eyes, soft black muzzle and comical curly tail give him a funny appearance.

It is known that a Pug can snore quite a bit. However, he does not like noise himself and is sensitive to the intonation of your voice. So he feels most at home with a quiet owner. Pugs like to play outside but can also adapt well to a flat or apartment. A little bit of exercise will soon be enough for them. That is why it is important not to let them do strenuous exercise at high temperatures. At 10 to 11 years old, the Pug has a slightly lower life expectancy than other dogs of its caliber. But with a little luck they can also live to be 13 or 14 years old.
